“Time to Read” offers a feature that you see on many newspaper sites.
This feature is available in WordPress now if you’re using the separate Gutenberg plugin. It may be officially added to the WordPress core in a future release.
The “Time to Read” block is available inside the block editor, as you can see in this screenshot:
The block currently has limited settings, including the text color and font size. It’s possible that more features will be added to this block if it’s added to the WordPress core. Read this Github issue for more on the block’s progress.

If Time to Read doesn’t make the WordPress core, there are other excellent new WordPress blocks available for publishers including the new Footnotes block.
